Privacy Policy

What we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and — if you sign up with a password rather than Google — a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
- Google sign-in: if you use "Sign in with Google," we receive your Google account's stable identifier and the profile information Google shares (typically name and email) — we don't receive your Google password.
- The financial plan data you enter: account balances, account types, annual spending, ages, Social Security details, and any other inputs you type into the planner, plus the calculated results for your saved plans. This is entered directly by you — Runway does not connect to your bank, brokerage, or any financial institution, and does not collect your Social Security number.
- Basic technical data: standard server logs (e.g., IP address, timestamps, error reports) generated by normal web traffic, used only for operating and debugging the service.
How we use it
To provide the service: run your calculations, save your plans so you can return to them, and authenticate your login. We do not use your financial plan data for advertising, and we do not sell your data to third parties.
Where it's stored
Your account and plan data are stored in a database hosted by our infrastructure provider (currently Render). Your login session is a token stored in your browser's local storage, used to authenticate your requests — it's not a tracking cookie and isn't shared with third parties.
Your saved plans are encrypted at rest: account balances, spending, and every other number you enter into a saved plan are encrypted (AES-256) before being written to the database, and decrypted only in memory when your own request needs them — for example, to run a calculation or show you your saved plan. This protects your data if our database were ever breached or leaked; it is not end-to-end encryption, since our servers still process your real numbers to run your plan's calculations.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers needed to run Runway itself: our hosting/database provider (Render), and Google (only for the sign-in flow, if you use it). We don't share your financial plan data with anyone else, and we don't sell it. We may disclose information if required by law.
Your choices
You can delete any saved plan from within the app. Full account deletion — removing your account and all associated data entirely — is not yet self-serve; contact support@infinitisoft.com to request it until that feature ships.
Children's privacy
Runway is not directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will be noted with an updated effective date above.
